NEET UG 2022: Nearly 95% students ask to Postpone NEET exam, Education Minister finally Responsds

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2022 postponement demands have stirred social media with #PostponeNEETUG2022 trending on many days. In a poll conducted by Times Now Education on NEET 2022 Postponement, 95% respondents have voted, asking to postpone NEET exam.

However, the NEET 2022 postponement demands might hit a well as Education Minister has recently hinted that the postponement of NEET UGNEET UG is not possible. At an event held this week, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan pointed out the unlikely nature of NEET 2022 postponement.

While the NEET UG 2022 postponement issue gets divided, with students and authorities on opposite ends, there are some who are still striving for the postponement of exams. Social media continues to be flooded with NEET 2022 postponement requests, with National Testing Agency, NTA, Education Minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi – all being tagged.

Neet ug 2022 postponement

In a Twitter poll held by Times Now Education, nearly 95% respondents still voted in favour of NEET postponement. The question under consideration was – “#PostponeNEET trends again on Twitter. Do you want #NEETUG2022 to be postponed or to be held as per schedule? Let us know.”

The NEET UG 2022 postponement related poll on Twitter received over 12,000 votes. Out of the three options, only about 5% voted for the ‘No, don’t postpone NEET’ option and about 1% couldn’t decide.

Education Minister finally responds to students’ demand:

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has finally made it clear that there is no possibility of postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (Undergraduate) 2022.

On the other hand, NTA has released the NEET 2022 exam city slips also indicating that the NEET UG Admit Card 2022 is now expected to be released very soon. As of now, NEET 2022 will be held as per schedule on July 17, 2022 for everyone. Please keep a check here and on the official website for more updates.
