While speaking at the India Today Education Conclave in response to a question regarding NEET UG postponement, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that a majority of students are already prepared for the exam.

NEET UG aspirants had been writing to the minister for postponement of the NEET UG examination on Twitter.
National Students Union of India (NSUI) National President Neeraj Kundan also wrote to the union education minister for the NEET UG postponement.
The India Today Education Conclave is being held today, June 28, 2022 where Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Delivered a keynote address on ‘Reimagining Education: The Future of Learning’
As a part of his address, the union education minister spoke on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the ways by which it is transforming change in the education system in the country till last mile while also providing the right skill training to enhance student’s employability.
At the same time, NEET UG aspirants have been seeking the postponement of the NEET UG 2022 examination by at least 40 days, or by September
National Students Union of India (NSUI) National President Neeraj Kundan had also written to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for the postponement of NEET UG 2022.
DHARMENDRA PRADHAN ON NEET UG 2022 POSTPONEMENT
When asked about the NEET UG postponement, Dharmendra Pradhan said, “Students are always anxious. All our senior principals are here, educationists are here; they face this problem every month.”
He remarked further, “Every month there is an evaluation, every month there is an examination, students come to them, ‘madam this not done, I have not prepared, please extend that.’”
“They are facing it every month, I am facing it annually,” the union education minister added.
When further asked if there would be no postponement, he replied, “I think, majority of students have already prepared to face the exam.”
